Ice Boy Toronto is a family-run business with a proud history spanning
over two decades. Our journey began in the 1990s when our founder, Rob Bould,
sought to expand his family’s catering business. At the time, sourcing bulk ice for large
events was a major challenge, so Rob started producing it himself—with just one restaurant-style
ice machine, a single delivery truck, and a few freezers. Initially, our only customer was
the family’s catering company, but demand soared as more people discovered our high-quality ice.
Rob soon invested in a commercial ice machine, a larger ice bin, and an automated bagging system,
and ICE BOY evolved from a side project into a thriving enterprise.

Today, we produce 50 tons of food-grade ice per day, serving clients across
the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. We remain dedicated to innovation and
environmentally sustainable practices, partnering with like-minded companies to reduce our
carbon footprint. By recycling heat from our water-cooled machines to create energy, we
continuously strive to make our operations greener. Equipped with multiple freezers, a
fleet of trucks, and trailers, we can handle everything from intimate backyard weddings
to 50,000-person outdoor festivals. Whether you’re a commercial client
